I am a second-year PhD student at the University of Tübingen and Max Planck Research School for Intelligent Systems (IMPRS-IS) working on interpretability of deep learning models for NLP and information retrieval in the Health-NLP Lab under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Carsten Eickhoff. The aim of my research is to make complex ML systems more transparent by reverse-engineering their internal mechanisms and leveraging these insights to steer model behavior, improve safety, and build more reliable systems.

Before starting my PhD, I worked as an NLP Research Engineer at Huawei Noah’s Ark Lab, where I contributed to research on LLM tool usage, multimodal retrieval, and production NLU systems. I hold BSc and MSc degrees in Applied Mathematics and Computer Science from the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (MIPT).
